 | Dave Blais Executive Vice President of Sales and Client Services
As Executive Vice President of Sales and Client Services, Dave oversees the company’s U.S. sales organization as well as Client Services such as Estimating, Scheduling, Customer Service and Paper Services.
Dave's experience in developing successful strategies around the needs of clients and Quad's unique manufacturing capabilities has played an integral part in the profitable growth of the company. He brings to his role more than 30 years of printing experience.
Joining Quad/Graphics' Corporate Training program in 1984, Dave later served as manager of the program. He has worked in various departments throughout the company, holding roles in Imaging, Press, Finishing, Customer Service, Scheduling and Marketing.
Dave was promoted to management in 1989 and became Corporate Director of Marketing in 1995, where his responsibilities expanded to include development of product and pricing strategies, unifying our marketing efforts and decentralizing the scheduling function. He was named Vice President of Marketing in 1999, Vice President of Operations in 2003, Senior Vice President of Sales & Administration in 2005, and Executive Vice President in 2010.
Prior to joining Quad/Graphics, Dave worked in a management role at BookCrafters, Inc. and held various roles in small commercial printing operations.
Dave has served as Chairman of the Gravure Association of America (GAA). He has also participated in the Gravure Catalog and Insert Council (GCIC) and has been a featured speaker at GAA events.
A graduate of Western Michigan University, Dave earned a bachelor's degree in printing management. He also completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School in 1995.
